Hello! My english ain’t that good so hope I can get the point across. I came from engineering background so we mostly use Matlab in our studies and months ago I just found out there’s a language called Julia which kinda similar to numpy and matlab. I like the Julia’s multiple dispatch and its other features but tutorials for this language is so few. Would love to see a course that composed of packages like Flux.jl, DifferentialEquations.jl or even Turing etc or anything as long it’s Julia. Thank you!
Hey, thanks and don’t worry, your English is just fine.
Julia is indeed an elegant and efficient language, and I think it has a lot of potential. I’ve been exploring Julia for a few years, but never had time to take a real deep-dive into it.
I don’t have any immediate plans to make a Julia course, but this is one of the most common requests I get. I always appreciate feedback and suggestions, so it’s something I’m seriously considering. But don’t hold your breath – it certainly wouldn’t be in 2022…
